The Florida Business League (FBL) provides a platform that represents the voice of small and emerging BLACK businesses throughout the state of Florida.
Founded in 2003, the League seeks to create a positive business environment that promotes healthy business, successful growth and development. Through its respective committees, members are provided with the distinct opportunity to:
Increase their visibility and business exposure in the community
Enhance their client base through quality referrals
Expand their professional networks
Make high caliber contacts through business to business workshops and seminars.
Increase avenues for new business opportunities
Obtain access to legislature
Gain understanding of legislative affairs
Access procurement processes with governmental agencies.
Our affiliation with governmental agencies and organizations provide avenues for our members to deliver varying services making them well poised to serve their community. These services range from Professional Services, Security Systems, Office supplies, Transportation and Logistics, to Architecture and Construction.
Members have access to procurement procedures and contracts with various public and private entities for bidding opportunities relating to the Greater Tampa Bay Area and the State of Florida, in addition to special projects as they arise. The League meets on a monthly basis, as well as at sponsored and co-sponsored events for the year. Other non-Chamber events of special interest are also advertised, giving members further opportunity for exposure and development.
